Matters needing attention in the application of diesel generator set
The diesel generator set must be operated by personnel who are familiar with the structure of the unit and master the safety operation procedures. The new or just overhauled diesel engine unit should be run for 60 hours according to the regulations, and do the necessary maintenance.
For new or long-term unused generators, strict inspection must be carried out before they are put into normal operation, mainly to check the winding insulation and wiring. If there is any discrepancy, necessary treatment shall be carried out.
After starting the diesel engine should slowly increase the speed, after checking to confirm that all good premise, can be low speed to rated speed no-load operation. During no-load operation, focus on checking the oil pressure, whether there is abnormal noise, excitation current, three-phase voltage changes, etc. If there is any abnormal situation-stop the machine immediately for inspection. After finding out the condition, start again. If everything is normal, it can be put into normal operation. The operator should closely monitor the changes of the instrument on the control panel, whether it is within the permitted range, and make corresponding adjustments.
During operation, the operator should keep a safe distance from the live equipment and wear labor protection equipment. Attention should be paid to the sequence of switching operation. In case of power failure, each branch switch shall be disconnected first, then the main switch shall be disconnected, and then the four-pole double-throw knife switch shall be switched. When power is transmitted, the order is reversed. During normal shutdown, part of the load shall be unloaded first, then the main switch shall be turned off, and the diesel engine shall be turned off at last. The main switch shall not be pulled off, and the power shall be cut off automatically as the diesel engine is turned off. Routine inspection of the unit after shutdown, and record the operation (work diary).
In case of electric shock, the power switch should be cut off quickly, or the power supply should be cut off or separated from the power supply with an insulating device. Then rescue, and call the doctor to the scene rescue. In case of electrical equipment flooding, the relevant power supply should be cut off immediately and reported to the local power supply station for fire fighting. Dry fire extinguishers and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers shall be used for fire fighting with live equipment, and water is not allowed.
diesel generator set of safe operation procedures:
1. After receiving the signal ready to start, carefully check the lubrication of the diesel engine at the specified oil level, check the oil and water volume, remove the irrelevant items beside the machine, and confirm that the oil and water temperature is not lower than 20 ℃ before starting.
2, each system pipeline valve should be in the open closed position, the connection of the transmission mechanism should be fastened well.
3. Manually rotate the crankshaft of the diesel engine 720 degrees to check that the internal parts should be in a normal state, and pull the speed control operating handle to the starting position.
4. Check whether the voltage of the starting power supply is normal, close the knife and press the start button. After the diesel engine is ignited, it will be released immediately. When the pressure of the lubricating oil reaches the specified value, it will slowly accelerate to the voltage 380V and the frequency 50Hz before it can be loaded.
5. If it cannot be started twice, it shall be started again after the fault is eliminated and reported to the relevant personnel due to careful inspection and determination of the cause.
6, in the work often check the oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature and load changes, and make records, prohibit all idle people into the work area.
7, the personnel on duty must stick to their posts and do their job well.
8. After receiving the shutdown signal, gradually unload the load, slowly decelerate to 850 r/min, and turn off the throttle for 2-3 minutes every idle.
9. After shutdown, close or open the valves of each system, check the consumption of oil and water, make up, carry out equipment maintenance, eliminate equipment maintenance, and eliminate faults in work.
