Discussion on Treatment Method of Abnormal Phenomenon of High Water Temperature of Diesel Generator Set
When the diesel generator set is used in the hot summer, the abnormal phenomenon of high temperature will appear, which will also affect the use of the unit.
The high water temperature of the unit is mainly caused by the following reasons:
1.Caused by unclean surface of cooling water tank radiator;
2.The coolant in the cooling water tank is insufficient;
3.Cooling water pump fault;

Five.Use an unsatisfactory coolant;
Six.The generator has been used for too long. Some parts are damaged.

Judge whether it is a meter or measuring point fault: if yes, notify the maintenance process and monitor the temperature of other measuring points to be normal; If the meter or measuring point indicates correctly and the temperature rises sharply, reduce the load to reduce the temperature to within the rated value. Otherwise, stop the machine and check whether the three-phase current is balanced and the unbalanced current exceeds the limit. If the unbalanced current exceeds the limit, it shall be treated as the three-phase unbalanced current.
Diesel generator set water temperature is high solution:
1) The surface of the cooling water tank radiator is not clean. The main reason is that the dusty environment is easy to block the surface of the radiator or when the unit is running, debris is sucked by the cooling fan to the water tank to block the ventilation and cause poor heat dissipation. Clean the surface of the water tank radiator with water or remove debris. Therefore, daily must pay attention to keep the environment in the room clean.
21) Insufficient coolant in the cooling water tank. It is necessary to check the reason for the loss of cooling water, check the cooling water tank and the cooling water pipes of the fuselage for leakage, and repair any leakage. Then replenish the coolant to the normal level.
34) The failure of the cooling water pump causes the cooling water not to circulate and the water temperature rises. This is due to the use of water pump for a long time after the internal gear wear caused by leakage. This fault is also rare in the standby oil machine. At this time, the manufacturer can only be contacted to repair or replace the pump.
41) Thermostat fault. The thermostat cannot be opened due to failure, so that the cooling water temperature cannot be changed when the cooling water temperature changes
The circulation path controls the flow of cooling water into the cooling water tank to adjust the cooling intensity. The thermostat needs to be replaced.
54) The cooling water pipe is filled with scale, rust and other substances, which hinder the circulation of cooling water and cause the water temperature to rise. For the use of coolant, we should at least use qualified tap water, * can use distilled water, deionized water or pure water.
6) After the generator is used for a long time, the belt of the cooling fan will gradually age and become inelastic or a belt is broken, resulting in the abnormal blowing capacity of the cooling fan. At this time, the belt of the cooling fan needs to be replaced again. Another situation is that the pulley bearing of the cooling fan sags after wear and causes the belt to relax, affecting the blowing capacity. However, this phenomenon is rare in the spare oil machine, as long as the cooling fan pulley bearing is lubricated enough during normal maintenance.
